CarHop has given over $350,000 since 2017 to charities and people in need in the communities we serve.
We believe that by giving back to the areas we serve, we can make a difference. Our branches worked with local charities to identify people in need. Below are just a sample of the things we did to help make a difference.

CarHop Cares, 2019
At CarHop of Denver Lakewood, we believe in supporting the heart of our community — the people. Through our CarHop Cares initiative, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with incredible local efforts that uplift and inspire.
One of those partners is SAME Café, a donation-based, fair exchange restaurant that serves healthy, nourishing meals to everyone — regardless of their ability to pay. With no set prices or menu, SAME Café operates with a simple but powerful philosophy: everyone deserves access to nutritious food and to be treated with dignity. We’re proud to support an organization that shares our values of compassion, inclusivity, and care.
We also had the honor of funding a local high school student who is launching a food bank at her school to help classmates struggling with food insecurity. Her story touched all of us — she spoke bravely about her own experiences growing up without consistent access to food. After her father was deported to Mexico and her mother, a full-time maid, struggled to make ends meet, she and her sisters often went hungry. Fear of being separated from their mom kept them from reaching out for help. Without a car, even visiting food banks by bus was a challenge. Today, she’s turning that hardship into hope by creating a resource for other students facing the same struggles. Her strength, empathy, and determination truly moved us — and we are so proud to stand behind her mission.
